Capturing Essence!

A Quick Break!

It has been a wonderful crazy November… filled with events and hardly have time to blog…

Anyway, an overnite trip at wonderful Pisang Waterfall… at our nite walk, I saw something flashing. At the end of the butt of this insect, it literally glows! Just like a firefly but has armour like Alien Vs Predator.

So intricate & beautiful… how can one deny there is God? :)

Have a wonderful weekend, I off to do more shooting! :)

Macro Madness

It has been a little while since I shot macros… today someone called me and mentioned something about macros… then I did thought that I did not share anything here on macros… Well, photography is so wide and not only about product shoots, events, interiors, etc… it is capturing the essence of life itself! Revealing the extraordinary in mediocrity!

Well, these are a number of macros I shot at a time ago… :)   Enjoy!

It has beena long time shooting macro. Macro was once my favourite as was shootings lots of portraits, stills and landscapes namely waterfalls!

Armed with my Tamron 180mm, away i was shooting these ferocious ants, tearing apart the poor little bee!

Trying to stablise my arms was a great feat as the weightt of the D300 & the lens might weigh about 1.8kgs!

Anyway, taking a breather by shooting different subjects/objects will trigger me to look things in a different eye!
